Good day to you, I hope you’ve all had a fantastic weekend and September. I come to you with the gift of knowledge. Knowledge of upcoming patches and projects.
I’ve been a little bit off the grid this month squirrelling away on client projects and preparing artwork and printed materials for the new projects and finally now emerging from the bleary haze of numbering art cards, packing patch packages and doodling doodles, the sharpie fumes are starting to wear off and I’m keen to give you fine folks an update on what’s coming.
For Skope, the new Hiwez Signature patch and the Wolfspider patch the preliminary date for release is currently Friday 30th October but that may be moved forward depending on the delivery of some patch collabs I’m working on with Patchlab.
SKOPE: Night Ops.
The limited edition army of Skopes have arrived and are in the process of being bagged and tagged. They look great and I’m excited to set them loose to occupy patch boards all over the world.
After releasing the last patch I did have some feedback about the sticker being too small and I can’t help but agree, my maths was slightly off when ordering the stickers and they were a little on the micro side. So not only will the Skope Night Ops patch come with a more befitting size of sticker for the Skope artwork, every pack will also come with a larger Desert Ops sticker too!
Additionally, as I will be launching these on the public store first, you will be able to use a 10% off code which I will release here nearer the time and you will also get a free brand new Night Ops colour themed Hiwez Illustrations Signature Patch with your order because you are awesome and you deserve it.
Wolfspider Faction Crest.
Alongside the release of Skope: Night Ops will be the Wolfspider Operative faction crest.
Tedlore ramble, The Wolfspiders are an off-grid special ops group overseen privately by Caedes. A very exclusive team with strict prerequisites needed to be considered as a candidate. As a result Caedes has sourced members from inside and outside the walls of the TTHQ to create a diverse skillset for the Wolfspiders. With Caedes being the shadowy figurehead of the group and the members being drawn from all corners of the Tedlands the Wolfspiders are a considered a very illusive faction of their own.
With that info absorbed you can confidently place your Wolfspider Faction patch anywhere you like on your Faction Patch line up without feeling obligated to have it under the TTHQ crest if you had the nerdy ted-head to consider doing so anyway.
Oh also the eyes glow in the dark!
OTHER UPCOMING PATCHES
Depending on when the production run is completed there will be some other patches to look forward to with my collaborations with Patchlab.
There are new grumpy pack colours already in production, the Beholder will be available in and out of the fishtank and the Titanfall Bunny homage will be one to keep an eye on as the mech will be pretty massive!
