SQUADROooOOOoON!
It has been a long few weeks for me with the house move and lack of office but things are starting to take shape once more. The new office is coming together and even though it’s still 80% Box Fort I have a desk and place to doodle my doodles, so we can at last expect to see some art dropping out of the new Hiwez HQ.
You have all stuck by the Squadron through an incredibly quiet period as the house hunting began with some urgency, then Christmas and New Year (and the actual house move) was upon us before awaiting me catching up with client work and personal projects and I just want to say to you personally, that is so humbling. Not only that but we have acquired new members who are joining in time to see the new Crossroads Comic Chapter begin taking shape. It’s an exciting time for me as we step into the Tedlands and I’m so glad I have awesome Squadron members to do that with.
FREE ART!
As a token of thanks for your patience through this period I wanted to drop a piece of free art at long last, something relevant and fun. The character study I sketched up recently of the new character we will meet in the Tedlands. A Tedguard who currently has no set name. If you have any suggestions I’d love to hear them, drop them in the comments below.
Here’s the preview of the study sheet, you can click it to be taken to the download page for this sheet. It includes the live Photoshop and Procreate document. Usually I am better with my layer etiquette but on the Procreate version you may find the layers or mostly, if not entirely, untitled! But switching them off and on should reveal their contents pretty clearly.
The files are at the resolution I work on in Procreate, but usually I work much larger in photoshop.

In other, more actionable, news. This Tuesday 26th on Facebook I will be going live in the Squadron Group to show you the beginnings of sketching the official first panels of the Crossroads Chapter Two comic. As any lives have been this one will also be a relaxed format with music, art and chit chat. I hope I’ll see you there, keep an eye on the group for the time to drop as I won’t be able to commit to a start time until on the day.

With the global issues surrounding flights, factories and print houses the Titanhop Bunny and the Bunno Fett patches have had their delays, but I can confirm that this week I got word that some parts of the new projects are on their way to Hiwez HQ, so I will be sharing teasers and information over the coming days provided they arrive present and correct!
