In the world of entrepreneurship it is inevitable one comes across a phrase something along the lines of

“If you’re comfortable, it’s time for a change.”

In many ways I agree with it. Though it’s important to understand that it doesn’t mean if you’re uncomfortable then you should remain that way. The message as I understand it lies in the pursuit of comfort and whatever you associate with it.

Whether it’s being comfortable in your own skin, your income, your lifestyle.

Because change is inescapably rooted in all things. To become acquainted with change is to arm yourself with an adaptive perspective. A brighter disposition.

I guess what I’m trying to say is, Hello.

As you are likely aware as my top Elite Squadron members, I have recently moved home. After four years rooting into a picturesque waterside apartment, two years of which spent as a growing freelance illustrator, it’s no stretch to imagine how life might have started to become comfortable; routine to some degree.

And so it was time for a change.

A new home, new routines and a first born on the way. It’s been a period of chaos and disarray as we attempt to acquire a reliable internet connection and dig our way out of several box forts where they should be rooms. But life is starting to resemble something familiar at last.

My work station is up and running, client work is caught up with and there’s even some new additions to make the office feel particular homely!

I’ve never had the inclination to put up my old reliable. The G&G M4 CQB Mini. I’ve always loved the look of an SBR and this has been my rifle for over seven years now. It still runs on NIMH batteries because I’m a great big wuss and believe everything I hear about LiPo batteries exploding inside peoples pride and joy.

Alongside it is my other very adaptable pew machine, the PSVR Aim controller. Best way to enjoy a few sessions of Firewall: Zero Hour.

The office is feeling like home and it’s time to turn it up to eleven with the Squadron so that when the next big change happens there’s a routine in place that keeps us connected and keeps the awesome projects rolling out!

Your patience has been nothing short of awesome and so show my gratitude there will be more free downloadable art on the way. Alongside news about projects and the long awaited Tedguard Sparks of Steel wallpaper within the next week or so.

Stay Awesome, Stay Furry and if you’re feeling comfortable… Make a change.

HIWEZ OUT
