With the Tactical Teddies® Playing Cards and the TinyHats:WWII patches complete this is the time I would start to look down my projects list for the next thing to get stuck into. The awesome thing is, this is the first time I won’t be the only one looking over the list!

As a Squadron member you have a say in what project should come next, and to properly inform you about what to expect I have constructed this list of the projects and a small descriptive summary. A blurb, if you will. So here we go!

1. Tactical Teddies® Debut Paperback Comic:

I have a few tales from the Tedlands I’d like to tell and I have been drafting the first one for a while now. I feel like it’s ready to start the development from notes to the fully illustrated comic. The story follows Caedes as a fledgling Private who joins a crucial mission to locate and secure an ancient artefact created by the Nightmare. The mislaid artefact is coveted by every Faction in the Tedlands, each with their own reasons for hunting it down. During this first tale we’ll learn why Caedes got his cuddlesign, what happened to his eye and meet a few notable characters along the way.

2. Tactical Teddies® Artbook:

I have SO MUCH ART focussed around the TT universe. From sketches in my doodle journals that have never seen the light of day to full pieces of art which are not reaching their full potential as website headers and instagram posts. A nice large artbook around the square of an A3 size is what I have in mind which will show LOADS of TT characters in full detail, sketches, scenes, vehicles and weapons with a little supplementary text along the way.

3. Tactical Teddies® Tabletop Card Game:

A while back I created a card game known as “CHAOS: The Age of Nyxus” which, even with an epic title like that, was an easy to learn, travel friendly, single serving 100 deck card game for 2+ players. The aim of the game was as simple as reaching a points limit before your opponents. Each turn making you choose between growing your kingdom or messing things up for your opponents. The game was play-tested by over two hundred players and was ready for production. Then I got distracted by drawing Teddies and haven’t stopped since. So I think it’s time the game got it’s big launch but with a Tactical Teddy make-over!

4. Tactical Teddies® morale patch set:

The last Tactical Teddy patch I brought out was Contractor 47. At about 3.5″ tall, 100 run limited edition and with a four page comic he was a project in himself. Since then it’s been faction ranger eyes, bunny rabbits, TinyHats, carrots, bullets and HIWEZ Illustration stamp patches. But no actual Tactical Teddy Bears since last November. That’s pretty unacceptable really.
The next set will be a leader Teddy from each faction based on the King or Queen from the Tactical Teddies® Playing Card artwork. One or two characters will likely need Squadron help to be chosen. The MAIN GOAL is to ensure these new patches will be affordable for everyone to collect, so they won’t be collectors edition and they will be redesigned in the TinyHats / bunnies style so about 2″ tall with large cute heads and little but detailed bodies.

And that about wraps it up for the 2019 project blurbs! Head over to the HIWEZ Squadron page on facebook and cast your vote with informed confidence!

HIWEZ OUT!
